Ukrainian Fashion Week is the largest event of the national fashion industry, which unites the leading designers of Ukraine.
For 20 years of its existence, Ukrainian Fashion Week (UFW) has contributed to the establishment and development of many domestic clothing manufacturers, as well as the development of Ukrainian fashion in general. Ukrainian Fashion Week has existed since the fall of 1997 and is the first event of this scale for Eastern Europe. Thanks to the international authority of Ukrainian Fashion Week, Ukrainian designers got the opportunity to join the European and global professional community.

The prototype of the postage stamp dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the UFW was the video work of Ukrainian artist Zinaida Likhachova "Transformation" (2012), presented for the first time at the 1st biennial of modern art "Arsenale 2012" in Kyiv.
In her art, Zinaida Likhachova reveals the diversity of cultural and social rituals, which are engraved in the sacred symbols of the birth of life and its departure, the endless transformation of the material world into the eternity of the spirit.
