Lema Public Education - National Heritage: Integral - Integrated - Integrated

The intangible heritage that honors this year refers to education as seen from three points of view: comprehensive; inclusive and integrated. Integral because the formation of a full citizen understands their intellectual, emotional, social and in their ethical and moral autonomy development.

The stamps that make up the ~Día 2016~ Heritage Series, are designed based on a series of stained glass found in the Pedagogical Museum ~José Pedro Varela~.

The windows show some of the subjects that were part of the curriculum of Internato Normal. Such as Chemistry, Physics, History, Health, Astronomy and of course Pedagogy. Made with Venetian glass in Buenos Aires Society of Mary in 1891.

The Pedagogical Museum Varela~ ~José Pedro is located in Plaza de Cagancha 1175, Montevideo
