Item Description

This Lot is a very attractive 1998 Ireland Scott #1156b Souvenir Sheet of four Endanged Animals on First Day Cover, unaddressed. Souvenir Sheet is tied to cachet cover by illustrated "BAILE ATHA CLIATH / LA A CHEAD... / 8.X.1998" circular date stamp. Stamps have deep rich coloring as does entire Souvenir Sheet, four nice margins with balanced centering, and nice intact perforations all around. Cover itself is approximately 191 mm x 129 mm, is clean front and reverse sides, and has sharp straight edges and sharp corners. Please see pictures of front and reverse for condition and quality, Scott 2024 Catalogue values this used Souvenir Sheet at $10.00 US - not including value of cover itself. Souvenir Sheet was produced in conjunction with National Stamp Exhibition "STAMPA 98".
