Item Description

This Lot includes four 1984 Jamaica First Day Covers, each with a Snake (Boa) stamp from the Set of #591-94. These are First Day Covers produced by the World Wildlife Fund with stamps tied by illustrated "FIRST DAY OF ISSUE / 22-10-84 / KINGSTON JAMAICA" circular date cancels. Stamps have very nice, deep rich coloring, four nice margins with balanced centering, and excellent perforations. Covers themselves measure approximately162 mm x 114 mm, are clean front and reverse sides, and have sharp corners and straight edges. Each cover bears one stamp of the Set of 4, and each has a very colorful snake and vegetation cachet. Please see pictures of front and reverse sides for condition and quality. Scott 2025 Catalogue values the four stamps alone at $10.85 US, not counting the first day cover itself.
