Item Description

Full mint sheet of 100 - 25 cent airmail stamps issued in 1979 to honor Wiley Post (1899-1935), the first man to fly around the world alone and a high-altitude flying pioneer. One stamp shows Wiley Post and "Winnie Mae" and the other stamp shows an NR-105-W, Post in Pressurized Suit and a portrait of Post. The picture below shows one of the stamps from the sheet. This sheet is as fresh as the day it was purchased at the post office 40 years ago and is suitable for framing. If you're a stamp collector, it is Scott #C95-96. Plate# 39193 UL.
