Hello! This auction is for a 1977 Wilkinsburg stamp club Souvenir sheet. The sheet is in excellent condition with full, never hinged original gum. These satirical sheets poke fun at the previous years stamp subjects with no regard for political correctness. These souvenir sheet were, and STILL are issued every year by the club in conjunction with their show in April. A description from the Wilkinsburg Stamp Club about this year's sheet; "We felt the Bicentennial Souvenir sheets with the famous paintings of Washington didn't entirely tell the story of our Country, so we made a fifth sheet with "Custer's Last Stand" and much humor."
