Item Description
Full mint sheet of 50 - 10 cent stamps issued in 1975 to celebrate Christmas. The stamps show Madonna and Child by Domenico Ghirlandalo. This is the first stamp that the U.S. issued without a value on it. This was the beginning of the non-denominational stamps. Except for some minor gum disturbance in the large selvedge, this sheet is as fresh as the day it was purchased at the post office 40+ years ago and is suitable for framing. The picture below shows a stamp from the sheet. If you're a stamp collector, it is Scott #1579.
