Item Description
Full mint sheet of 50 - 10 cent stamps issued in 1974 to honor the Christmas season. The stamp shows a Christmas Angel by Bradbury Thompson, using detail from the Perussis altarpiece painted by an anonymous French artist, 1480, in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Except for some minor gum disturbance in the large selvedge, this sheet is as fresh as the day it was purchased at the post office 40+ years ago and is suitable for framing. The picture below shows a stamp from the sheet. If you're a stamp collector, it is Scott #1550.
