Item Description

Full mint sheet of 50 - 8 cent stamps issued in 1972 to celebrate Christmas. Detail from a painting by the Master of the St. Lucy legend, in the National Gallery of Art, Washingon, D.C. The stamp shows Angels form "Mary, Queen of Heaven". The picture below shows one of the stamps from the sheet. This sheet is as fresh as the day it was purchased at the post office 40+ years ago and is suitable for framing. If you're a stamp collector, it is Scott #1471. Plate # 33560-33565 LL.
