Full mint sheet of 50 - 6 cent stamps issued in 1971 to honor General Douglas MacArthur (1880-1964), Chief of Staff, Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers in the Pacific Area during World War II and Supreme Commander in Japan after the war. The stamp shows General Douglas MacArthur. The picture below shows one of the stamps from the sheet. Except for some slight glazing on the gum of a few stamps, this sheet is as fresh as the day it was purchased at the post office 45+ years ago and is suitable for framing.
