Item Description

This Lot is a multi=franked 1970 Denmark Cover, from Fanø Færgen, Nordby, Denmark to Den Haag, Holland. Cover is franked with Scott #'s 263 (separated pair), 301, 355, 364 and Q40 tied to cover by Fanø Færgen, Nordby double oval cancel and circular date stamps. Stamps have deep rich coloring, four margins with varied centering (all good), and excellent perforations all around. Cover itself measures approximately158 mm x 110 mm, shows very light wear from postal handling, and is clean front and reverse sides. Please see pictures of front and reverse for condition and quality. Scott 2024 Catalogue values the stamps alone at $20.35 U.S., not counting the value of the cover.
