SMOM Sovereign Military Order of Malta 1969 Nativity Set IMPERF BLOCKS of 8 VF-NH, dull gum. Poste Magistrali | Sovrano Militare Ordine Di Malta. New discovery offered at Low cost, still Very Scarce as Imperf. Rarely offered in Set and a Great opportunity to acquire.The postal administration of the Order, known as the Poste Magistrali and based in Roma, Italy was instituted in 1966 and the first stamps were issued on November 15th, 1966. The stamps are official and can be found on mail to well over 50 countries which have Postal Conventions with the Sovereign Order and in which the Order does charitable work. But because the Postal Service is not recognized by the Universal Postal Union, these stamps did not make it to the official catalogues.The stamps are issued for both postal and charitable reasons and are also classed as cinderellas.Pursuant to the guidelines for all sales of tangible goods, taxes will be collected and remitted to the appropriate tax authorities.
