Full mint sheet of 50 - 4 cent stamps issued in 1960 to re-emphasize the ideals upon which America was founded and to honor those great Americans who wrote or uttered the credos. The stamp shows a quotation from Washington's farewell address. The picture below shows one of the stamps from the sheet. Except for missing the narrow selvedge along the whole bottom edge, this sheet is as fresh as the day it was purchased at the post office 60+ years ago and is suitable for framing.
