Item Description

This Lot is a Yugosavia Forces cover, part of the EGIPAT United Nations Expeditionary Forces circa 1956-58 peacekeeping at the end of the Suez Canal crisis of the same dates. Cover has no addressee but reflects two circular date cancels - 1) "VOJNA POSTA Br. 6000 / Beograd" ; and 2) "POSTA DOREDA JNA / 1956-1958 / EGIPAT-UNEF". Cover has colorful cachet of soldiers head, helmut, and star. Cover measures approximately 187 mm x 84 mm, has sharp straight edges and sharp corners, and clean surfaces front and reverse sides.
