Full mint sheet of 50 - 3 cent stamps issued in 1957 honoring "Those who helped fight polio" and for the 20th anniversary of the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis and the March of Dimes. The stamp shows Allegory designed by Charles R. Chickering. The picture below shows one of the stamps from the sheet. Except for some minor perf separation in the narrow selvedge, this sheet is as fresh as the day it was purchased at the post office 60+ years ago and is suitable for framing. It would make a great gift for the architect in your family. If you're a stamp collector, it is Scott #1089. Plate # 25603 UL.
