Full mint sheet of 50 - 3 cent stamps issued in 1956 to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the birth of Booker T. Washington, black educator, founder and head of Tuskegee Institute in Alabama. The stamp shows a picture of a log cabin representing his homestead. The picture below shows one of the stamps from the sheet. Except for some minor perf separation in the narrow selvedge, this sheet is as fresh as the day it was purchased at the post office 65 years ago and is suitable for framing.
