Full mint sheet of 50 - 3 cent stamps issued in 1953 to honor General George S. Patton, Jr (1885-1945) and the armored forces of the U.S. Army. The stamp shows General George S. Patton, Jr. and tanks in action. The picture below shows one of the stamps from the sheet. Except for some minor perf separation in the narrow selvedge (including a tiny missing corner), this sheet is as fresh as the day it was purchased at the post office 70 years ago and is suitable for framing.
