Item Description

Full mint sheet of 70 - 3 cent stamps issued in 1948 to honor the writer and journalist, William Allen White. The stamp shows a portrait of White. The picture below shows one of the stamps from the sheet. Except for having been folded in half along the center column of perforations and having some minor perf separation in the narrow selvedge, this sheet is as fresh as the day it was purchased at the post office 65+ years ago and is suitable for framing. If you're a stamp collector, it is Scott #960. Plate # 23857 UR.
