Item Description

Full mint sheet of 50 - 3 cent stamps issued in 1948 to honor the centenary of the establishment of the Oregon Territory. The stamp shows portraits of John McLoughlin and Jason Lee and a wagon on the Oregon trail. The picture below shows one of the stamps from the sheet. Except for a section of horizontal perf separation (1/3 stamp wide), this sheet is as fresh as the day it was purchased at the post office 70+ years ago and is suitable for framing. If you're a stamp collector, it is Scott #964. Plate # 23874 LL.
