Item Description

Full mint sheet of 50 - 3 cent stamps issued in 1948 to honor the centenary of the establishment of the Oregon Territory. The stamp shows portraits of John McLoughlin and Jason Lee and a wagon on the Oregon trail. The picture below shows one of the stamps from the sheet. A sheet of this era may have minor perf faults but is otherwise as fresh as the day it was purchased at the post office 65+ years ago and is suitable for framing. If you're a stamp collector, it is Scott #964. I may have a variety of plate numbers and positions available so ask if you are looking for something in particular.
