Full mint sheet of 70 - 3 cent stamps issued in 1948 to honor George Washington Carver. The stamp shows a portrait of Carver. The picture below shows one of the stamps from the sheet. Except for some facial scuffs in the narrow selvedge this sheet is as fresh as the day it was purchased at the post office 70+ years ago and is suitable for framing. If you're a stamp collector, it is Scott #953.
