Full mint sheet of 50 - 3 cent stamps issued in 1948 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the establishment of the Mississippi Territory. The stamp shows a map and seal of the Mississippi Territory and a portrait of Gov. Winthrop Sargent. The picture below shows one of the stamps from the sheet. Except for being folded in half along the middle row of perforations, this sheet is as fresh as the day it was purchased at the post office 70+ years ago and is suitable for framing. If you're a stamp collector, it is Scott #955.
