Grade: VF (Very Fine)Full mint sheet of 50 - 3 cent stamps issued in 1948 to honor the American Gold Star Mothers, mothers of deceased members of the United States Armed Forces. The stamp shows a gold star and a palm frond. The picture below shows one of the stamps from the sheet. Except for some minor perf separation in the narrow selvedge, this sheet is as fresh as the day it was purchased at the post office 75 years ago and is suitable for framing. If you're a stamp collector, it is Scott #969.
