Full mint sheet of 50 - 3 cent stamps issued in 1948 to honor Francis Scott Key, the Maryland Lawyer who wrote _The Star-Spangled Banner_. The stamp shows a portrait of Key with a U.S. flag of 1814 and one of 1948. The picture shows one of the stamps from the sheet. Except for some minor perf separation in the narrow selvedge, this sheet is as fresh as the day it was purchased at the post office 70+ years ago and is suitable for framing. If you're a stamp collector, it is Scott #962.
