Up for auction is a beautiful cover from Sally Nussbaum in the Jewish ghetto in Shanghai China to Siegmund Nussbaum in Memphis, Tennessee. Great cancels and markings. In very good condition. Priced to sell. Postmarked April 7, 1947. Before and during world war 2 many Jews fleeing Nazi persecution took refuge in Shanghai China forming a ghetto. After the war, with the Nazi's defeated, and civil war in China heating up, many sought to go to Palestine or the USA.Shipping will be a flat $2.00 within the continental U.S. for USPS mail.
