Letter is undated and begins, Hello Sweet --- the writer says, "How[']s my angel of mercy tonite[?] Having a good time tonite I'll bet. I'm finished my missions and am waiting to come home." --- he describes, "I spent 4 days in the country with my [E]nglish [A]rmy girl. Really had a wonderful time. They are swell people."

He relates, "i'm gonna try and get to plymouth on my next furlough. Save me a date, huh? I'm only 5'11" according to the medics. I'm gonna make 6 feet, or bust." --- signed, be good honey. Sweet dreams. Love, kenny; dark strip across bottom or sides is the plastic holder in the scan
