Full mint sheet of 50 - 3 cent stamps issued in 1945 to honor the achievements of the U.S. Navy in WWII. The stamp shows several U.S. Sailors. The picture below shows one of the stamps from the sheet. Except for some slight facial scuffs in the narrow selvedge and along the bottom row of stamps, this sheet is as fresh as the day it was purchased at the post office 75 years ago and is suitable for framing.
