Item Description

This Lot is an unusual 1945 Saxony Province, Scott #13N13, imperforate block of 12 in used condition. Stamps have socked-on-the-nose circular cancel on every grouping of four stamps. Please see picture. Commemorating Land Reform, this block of twelve stamps has deep rich green coloring on cream/light tan paper, nice margins on each stamp, nice corners and straight edges, and is fully intact. While clean front and reverse, the three cancels have bled through from front to back. Scott 2024 Catalogue values this block of 12 at $22.80. Please see pictures of front and reverse.
