Up for auction is a beautiful airmail cover from the internment camp in Mareth Tunisia to the Red Cross in Switzerland. Beautiful stamps and cancels. Postmarked November 8, 1944. In excellent condition. Priced to sell. Covers from Tunisian internment camps is extremely rare, sender is G Rizzuto, apparently a political internee held prisoner in the camp. The prisoner was presumably an Italian civilian captured during the war. Very scarce item.Shipping will be a flat $2.00 within the continental U.S. for USPS mail. Overseas airmail shipping is $3.00.
