Up for auction is a beautiful censored stampless postcard cover from a German Prisoner of War, POW, named Franz Wittman held at the POW camp in Camp Alva Oklahoma, OK, and mailed to Germany to Lilli Ruscheisen in Bodensee. Postmarked March 25, 1944. Excellent condition. censorship by US authorities and appears to have had a chemical swipe to detect hidden messages in invisible ink.
