Description/Condition:
Group of 7 items all related to the American OSS (CIA forerunner) ‘operation cornflakes.’ Includes genuine 6pf and 12pf hitler heads, one copy of the 6pf and one 12 pf perforated oss forgeries (Michel #15-16), two copies of the 12pf carmine skull ‘Futsches Reich’ forgery (Michel #17), and an imperf block of 4 of the skull forgery (unlisted, forgery of the forgery). One example of each of the 6pf and 12pf oss forgeries are very fine to extremely fine, which is rarely encountered on these. The lot comes with a padded folder and information cards. The 12pf genuine issue is mint hinged (MH). The rest are mint never hinged (MNH). Condition as pictured.
