METER STAMP ESSAY with combination of MEXICAN frank & Pitney-Bowes English slogan: Dated 1942, frank is Mexico type #CA1, assuming the date is correct these strips were made the year before Pitney-Bowes got into the Mexican market, the Progressive / Convenient illustrated slogan was a popular Pitney-Bowes slogan, a PLR slug appears between the slogan and the frank, Mint, a toning speck and some disturbances on reverse, light bend between frank nd town mark, still VF from the face.Probably a trade-show give-away.
