Grade: UngradedUp for auction is a beautiful extremely rare censored Postcard cover from an American held prisoner in an internment camp in Ngawi in the Netherlands Indies to this wife or family member in Greenfield MA USA . Postmarked March 29, 1941. In Good condition. Priced to sell. Note this predates the invasion of the Netherlands Indies by Japan whereupon German internees were freed. The sender, GCE Wieland was apparently an American national who found himself on Dutch territory when world war two broke out and he was interned. Very scarce item.
