Full mint sheet of 70 - 5 cent stamps issued in 1940 to celebrate Famous Americans. This is the 5 cent Artist stamp that has a portrait of Daniel Chester French. The picture below shows one of the stamps from the sheet. Except for a tiny missing corner of narrow selvedge, this sheet is as fresh as the day it was purchased at the post office 80 years ago and is suitable for framing.
