The Sherman Lead Company of Wallace, Idaho, was organized in 1918 after a prior company received an infusion of capital from mining investor, Eugene R. Day. At its height of prosperity, it held over 97 acres encompasing one mill site, the Bullion, and 12 claims: the Sherman, Union Fracture, Union, Bengal Tiger, Hidden Treasure, Burke-Tiger, Bullion, Oreano, Sinker, Pearl, Pearl Fracture, and Moonlight. " It was reorganized once more as part of Day Mines, Incorporated, and operated until at least some time in the 1950s.

There is a nice mining vignette on the reverse.

With some file folds, but in nice shape.
