Item Description

Full mint sheet of 50 - 2 cent stamps issued in 1936 to honor the United States Army. The stamp shows a portrait of Major General Andrew Jackson and one of General Winfield Scott along with a picture of the Hermitage. The picture below shows one of the stamps from the sheet. A sheet of this era may have minor perf faults but is otherwise is as fresh as the day it was purchased at the post office 80+ years ago and is suitable for framing. If you're a stamp collector, it is Scott #786. I may have a variety of plate numbers and positions available so ask if you are looking for something in particular.
