1932 Newfoundland Poster Stamp $1.00 Sikorsky S-40 Flying Boat "Wayzata Issue" First Transatlantic Air Mail And Passenger Flight Unused Bald Spots 60% Original Gum. A Stamp Of This Design Was Produced In The US In 1932 By A Private Company Under Contract With Newfoundland Authorities. The Government Canceled The Contract And The Stamp Was Not Valid For Prepayment Of Postage. It Is Commonly Known As The 'Wayzata' Issue. Special Thanks To Colnect.
