Item Description

This Lot is a 1930 Air Mail Registered cover from El Paso, Texas to Niesky, Schlesien, Germany franked with Scott #'s 567 and 641. Stamps are tied to cover by unreadable cancellation, however reverse of cover bears "EL PASO, TEX / DEC 6, 1930 / REGISTERED" double circle date stamp, as well as New York, Paris, and several transit markings. Cover has Niesky receiving stamp on reverse side. Stamps have deep rich coloring, four margins (one narrow on each stamp), and good perforations all around. Cover itself measures approximately 154 mm x 129 mm, has light wear on surfaces, corners, and edges from postal handling, and moderate toning along top edge (front and reverse). Please see pictures.
