Up for auction is picture postcard RPPC Mint from japan . In Good condition. Priced to sell. Postcard depicts Zeppelin dirigible airships in flight across the ocean. Very nice design . Great aviation postal history. Published by a Tokyo Life Insurance company, it promotes Japanese air superiority.Postmark is not very legible, year appears to be 1928.Zeppelin related postcards from prewar Japan are extremely rare. The zeppelin depicted looks like the Graf Zeppelin which flew to Japan but was never used for military purposes.
