Mail order advertising letter enclosed in its original 1-cent paid permit envelope from Fort Wayne, Indiana. The advertisement is for The Iron Remedy Company's "Phosphorated Iron Tablets" which were to be taken when a patient began "to feel the terrors of chronic ailments." They were guaranteed to make you feel "strong and vigrous" and give you "health and beauty." The letter claims after taking them, "You will know if your organs are acting better" and that you will "sleep better, work better and think better . . . you can again be well, strong, free from disease, healthy and happy. . .."

The letterhead is illustrated with an image of a tin of the tablets, an athletic young man, and a woman dressed for a ball.
