Grade: G/VG (Good/Very Good)Five YMCA American Expeditionary Forces Soldier's Mail Covers from (Cook) Foster H Van Ness in Co E, 113th US Infantry. Most of the covers show a clear US Army Postal Service No 765 cancel of varying styles. All passed through military censors. A quick internet search reveals that Foster survived WWI and died at the ripe old age of 97! These letters were addressed to Ida M. Malsbury in New Jersey who would become his wife.
