Up for auction is a beautiful postcard cover from a Germany prisoner of war, POW, mailed from and to Osaka, Japan with Japanese postage. In excellent condition. Priced to sell.. Excellent stamps, cancels and markings. Postcard depicts the Germany Club Concordia in Shanghai, China. Postmarked 1915. Covers from Germany POWs held by Japan in World War 1 are exceptionally rare, moreso ones held in Japan mailing covers with Japanese franking. Extremely rare item. The sender is probably one of the Germany soldiers captured in Tsingtao China by Japanese forces early in world war 1.Shipping will be a flat $4.00 within the continental U.S. for USPS mail, insurance included. $3 for overseas airmail, I will ship worldwide airmail to overseas customers for $14.00, registered mail fees included.
