Scarce flag machine cancel from the Exposition Station of Portland OR (the Lewis & Clark Exposition), July 1905 use, 1 cent 1902 issue #300 to Spokane WA, on WOODEN postcard. Neat use! Valued at $60 on card in the last print edition of Bomar and the same value in the last edition of the Flag Cancel Encyclopedia; in my experience a difficult flag cancel. Note - stamp has been skillfully replaced and I think the right end of the flag enhance to create a tie. The flag lines don't match up at upper left. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
