Item Description

This Lot consists of three 1903 Somali Coast stamps, Scott #58, 62, and 63 in Mint condition and all three with inverted centers. Scott # 58 has deep rich coloring, four margins with nice centering, and nice perforations all around. Reverse side has original gum with hinge marking. Scott #63 has deep rich coloring, three nice margins with fourth at edge of design, centered toward the bottom, and has nice perforations all around. Reverse side of #63 has original gum with hinge marking. Scott #62 has deep rich coloring, four nice margins with background nicely centered and is imperforate. Reverse side of #62 has no gum. Please see pictures of front and reverse sides for condition and quality. Scott 2024 Catalogue values these stamp in upright condition at $49.50 US. Stamps with inverted centers are unusual.
