1898 cover from New York City to Acushnet MA, forwarded to Shawmut. 2 cent 1st bureau, duplex handstamp; ad cover with building vignette from the Potter Parlin Company. Ink stain at center; Acushnet CDS; with Acushnet, Shawmut and 2 New Bedford dial only American machine backstamps. Acushnet is Bristol County, 1864-1907, and a branch and station thereafter.
