Item Description

This Lot is an 1859 Thurn and Taxis Scott #1 in Used condition with light socked-on-the-nose cancel. Stamp has light blue coloring, is imperforate, and has clean surfaces front and reverse sides. Stamp has nice margin at top, narrow at right side and bottom, and is cut slightly into very edge of design on left side - overall Fine condition. Please see pictures of front and reverse sides. Scott 2025 Catalogue values this stamp in Used condition at $45.00 US.
