1840 STAMPLESS Postal History Cover EVESHAM, ENGLAND w/ SUMMONS letterIt was sent 27 Jun 1840. It was franked with stamp "Paid". The letter says 'We served the defendant with writ of summons yesterday. He was much incensed at it".
This cover is in good, but not perfect condition. Please look at the scan and make your own judgement.
