Of course, "nh" means never hinged. The descriptors "lh" and "h" will have a hinge mark and might have a non-distracting hinge remnant. "hh" and "hr" will always have at least one remnant. Both "mint" and "unused" mean not postally used. If a stamp has no gum, i will always say "ng" and will try to remember to put "no gum" in the body of the listing as a flaw. "scv" stands for the current scott specialized catalogue.

Since i have no control over the post office, i am not responsible for shipments lost or damaged in the mail. That is what insurance is for, which i recommend you purchase at the time you check-out if your local mail service is prone to damaging or losing things.

Returns:

Having been a stamp collector for over 50 years, i feel i can spot most flaws. However, as much as i hate to admit it to myself, i am not 100% perfect at it. So if you receive a stamp with a flaw that i didn't point out in my description, please feel free to return it within 7 days of receipt for a full refund, including postage... And accept my sincere apologies... It really wasn't on purpose. I only ask that you contact me first so i can keep an eye out for it.

I do my best to identify and describe the stamps accurately, pointing out any flaws that won't show up in the scans. But i don't point out the obvious problems that you can see in the scans for yourself. If i detect regumming, reperfing, rebacking, etc, i will note that in my description since you normally can't see those in scans. However, i am not an expert and just like all the other people selling stamps online, a well doctored stamp will get past me from time to time. So inspect everything you buy from me, and from anybody else, because the stamp doctors have gotten a lot better in the last decade at regumming, reperfing, and making coils out of imperfs, etc, etc. And those can be very difficult to detect in the amount of time i have to allot to each stamp. I try hard, but i can't catch every flaw, repair, reperf, etc. Out of the thousands of stamps i look at. That's why i have such a liberal return policy for you to use, should the occassion arise.
