Item Description

  Rare specimen of the $100 series 1911 postal savings certificate.  This is the earliest series and the only value for which I've seen a specimen.  Sheet margin at left; nice bright yellow color, a showpiece postal savings item.  The certificates indicated deposits in the postal savings system, which operated similarly to a bank, 1911-1966.

use a cardboard mailer where appropriate.  Over $50, tracking is required; $5 for domestic.  $2 letter shipping for international/$15 for Hip international tracking.
