Anybody notice that the two examples pictured do not have the same type of overprint. Look at the Serifs.
-
Can't wait to see what condition it is in.
-
Scott does not list these overprints, The base PSE is listed.

Jeri, Unbelievable I thought it was an April fool's joke, I never win anything. I might try the lottery today,
-
John, glad I could point you in the right direction
-
John, Look at Austria Newspaper Stamps
-
Bob, Scott does make a listing for CTO stamps, you just have to read the footnotes.
-
John, I think it has to do with the printing on the back 112-113 has Arms printed on back with Inscription, while 139-140 only has inscription at back. I am away from my collection so I cannot confirm this seeing the stamps.

Greg, Good point. I just offered an alternative to the ones previously mentioned.

A lot of collectors do not want to leave feedback because they don't want people seeing what they buy, especially when it comes to auctions. By doing the "45-day" thing you pretty much make this their privacy concerns irrelevant.

Tom, Why just ask your local postal clerk to cancel the stamps (or better yet let you use the cancelling devise) as they are. This way you won't have to deal with trying to remove the stamps from the envelopes and possibly damaging them.
-
John, I read somewhere that the new EU Rules forbid the "GB" Sticker on cars coming cross the channel and must have a "UK" Sticker.
-
Because that's the way it has always been. You know 1840 and all that stuff. (LOL).

Thanks for the scans, looks to me that the "Stamp" is printed on the card. The design is not clear so I would say it is part of a design for an advertisement and not a real stamp or indicia from some PO Generated Card. The small amount of words on t…

What are the chances of seeing the Polish Card that this is stuck on? Maybe if we see this item in its entirety. that will give us the clue needed. The stamp looks kind of blurry, maybe it's just a cinderella item like those Germa Produced Post Card…
